Faye Sahai

Mrs. Faye Sahai graduated from Claremont McKenna College (CMC) 1990 in Economics and Psychology in 1990. Faye brings 19 years of experience in leading large scale innovation and change initiatives working across various organizations, such as Blue Shield, Deloitte Consulting, Disney, HP, Toyota, First Deposit/Providian and Charles Schwab. Her focus has been in health care working with range of partners from health plan leaders, pharmacists, physicians, IT to finance to develop strategies, prioritize and lead portfolio of major initiatives, coordinate cross organization summits/leadership forums, execute and ensure value realization. She also holds master degree in business management from UCLA.

Currently, she is the Executive Director of Innovation and Advanced Technology for Kaiser Permanente (KP) where she leads the charge to identify and assess new and emerging technology and trends in the delivery of care. Faye oversees the Board of Kaiser Permanente’s Internal Innovation Fund for Technology which provides funding for innovative technology projects within KP. She is the IT partner to the Sidney R. Garfield Center for Health Care Innovation, a 37,000-square-foot simulated care delivery environment and laboratory for testing new technology, designs, and ideas to keep Kaiser Permanente on the cutting edge of health care. Innovation and Advanced Technology team includes physicians, nurses, national innovation hunter network, and innovation and mobility laboratory teams.

Faye’s previous position at Kaiser Permanente was the Executive Director, Business Mgmt & Operations, Executive Oversight & Strategic Transition where she built infrastructure for cross organization coordination – including IT governance, business partner survey and engagement involving 2000 individuals, and national IT leadership summit. She was on the transition team that moved the national IT division of over 5,000 employees to be more business facing.. She serves as the President of Kaiser Permanente’s Women in Technology (KP-WIT) and Steering Committee for Kaiser Permanente Women Embracing Life and Leadership (KPWELL).
