Selective Liberal Arts Consoritum (SLAC)CMC is a partner in the Selective Liberal Arts Consortium (SLAC) which provides additional internship and full-time employment opportunities for juniors and seniors. SLAC organizes pre-selected interviewing days during Winter Break and CMC students participate in the New York City, San Francisco, and Washington, DC events. These interviews offer a great opportunity to meet with organizations that do not interview at The Claremont Colleges. Companies come from all over the country and represent a variety of industries. Opportunities are available in a variety of fields such as publishing, law, science, education, government, non-profit, business, and finance.

What is a CIC?
Career and Internship Connections are off-campus career and interview fairs scheduled during winter break, so you have the time to travel to the cities you might be interested in! There are a couple of different ways to navigate the fairs, the best and most proactive one is to register, upload your resume, and APPLY for positions by the November 28 deadline. You may then be selected for interviews by employers, select a time and be interviewed at the event!
INTERNSHIPS AND FULL-TIME JOBS!!!
These innovative off-campus events allows students to network and interview with companies in New York, Washington DC, Boston, and Los Angeles! This is the 12th year of the consortium events (it includes 17 other schools). Last year's events boasted over 200+ employers in EVERY type of field!
Registering for the events early means you’ll get updated information on the events, employers attending, and jobs posted. You can also create search agents to send you postings in particular cities and/or fields.
