Off-Campus Cultural Excursions
Academic Year 2009-2010

The Gould Center is pleased to offer CMC students the opportunity to attend premiere concerts and recitals during the academic year. The Center has been privileged to offer hundreds of students the experience of attending performances by the Los Angeles Opera, Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra, the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, Philharmonia Baroque, and the Concertgebouw Orchestra of Amsterdam. Notable performers have included violinists Margaret Batjer, Joshua Bell, and Leila Josefowicz; pianists Emanuel Ax, Alfred Brendel, Radu Lupu, and András Schiff; singers Barbara Bonney, Lisa Saffer, Eric Cutler, and Thomas Quasthoff; and conductors Gustavo Dudamel, Iván Fischer, Mariss Jansons, Sir Neville Marriner, and Esa-Pekka Salonen.

Tickets are available to CMC students only and are distributed on a first-come basis. If you are interested in a performance, please contact the Gould Center in writing immediately. You may e-mail your request to rfaggen@cmc.edu. Tickets will not last for long, so please act quickly.
