New International Student and Scholar OrientationOur New International Student Orientation is tailored to an international perspective. Whether you are a visa student, or hold U.S. citizenship or permanent residency and have lived abroad, we strongly encourage you to participate! Sessions with faculty and returning students will help familiarize you with academic and social life in Claremont; sessions with I-Place staff will help address issues pertaining to international students and U.S. students who have lived overseas. Note that the New International Student Orientation program takes place prior to the New Student Orientation program offered by each of The Claremont Colleges so that international students can participate in both of these programs. The aim of the New International Student Orientation program is not only to help introduce you to The Claremont Colleges and the City of Claremont, but also to address issues unique to the international and other overseas student experience. We are confident that what you take away from the International Student Program will serve you throughout your years at The Claremont Colleges!
