New International Student and Scholar Orientation

Our New International Student Orientation is tailored to an international perspective.  Whether you are a visa student, or hold U.S. citizenship or permanent residency and have lived abroad, we strongly encourage you to participate!  Sessions with faculty and returning students will help familiarize you with academic and social life in Claremont; sessions with I-Place staff will help address issues pertaining to international students and U.S. students who have lived overseas.  Note that the New International Student Orientation program takes place prior to the New Student Orientation program offered by each of The Claremont Colleges so that international students can participate in both of these programs.  The aim of the New International Student Orientation program is not only to help introduce you to The Claremont Colleges and the City of Claremont, but also to address issues unique to the international and other overseas student experience.  We are confident that what you take away from the International Student Program will serve you throughout your years at The Claremont Colleges!

Please let us know of your arrival plans and your plans to atend New International Student Orientation by completing our New Student/Scholar Form.

If you haven't already, please also see our New Student/Scholar Information page for important information that will help you plan for your arrival.
