Understanding and Assessing Soft Leader Skills

Saturday, February 25, 2012

Claremont McKenna College

A gathering of top scholars to explore, discuss, and present the different conceptualizations of soft skills and leadership.

The conference will explore the different models, conceptualizations, and measures of the "soft skills" that are so necessary for effective leadership. By "soft skills" we are referring to the interpersonal skills, communication skills, persuasion skills, political skills, and emotional abilities used by leaders to inspire, motivate, and move followers toward the accomplishments of goals.
