SUMMER "TO DO" LIST AVAILABLE.
View the 2011 Summer "To Do" List that should be completed through the Dean of Students Office by all incoming students.
NEW STUDENT PARTIES ANNOUNCED.
The Claremont McKenna College Alumni Association will host a series of parties for incoming students and their parents beginning in summer 2011. A complete schedule and list of locations is available here.
CMC BIKE SHOP OPEN FOR BUSINESS.
The CMC Bike Shop is located in the basement of Wohlford Hall. Bikes are available to CMC students at no charge for 24 hours. Locks and helmets are also available. A $10 late fee is applied daily to bikes returned after one day. Lost, stolen, or badly damaged bikes will require a reimbursement by the student to the College of $300 plus tax. Students may also bring their own bikes in for repair and services, including inflating or replacing tires, adjusting seats and gears, and replacing bike pads and cables. The Bike Shop is open during the school year from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. during the week and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the weekends. Times may be subject to change.
FIRST-YEAR STUDENTS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO BRING A VEHICLE TO CAMPUS.
CMC, along with Pitzer and Pomona Colleges, is restricting freshmen from bringing vehicles to campus. For questions regarding this policy, please contact the Dean of Students Office at (909) 621-8114.

STUDENT AND PARENTS ORIENTATION BEGINS

FRESHMEN/TRANSFER STUDENT EARLY MOVE-IN
Students have the option to move-in on Wednesday, August 24. Limited services will be available. Students may pick up their residence hall keys 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Story House. Parents may pick up their registration materials from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Emett Student Center. Students returning from W.O.A. are scheduled to return to campus by 5:00 p.m. Please note: Students must be present to sign for their room keys. Keys will not be issued to parents. Lunch and dinner will be available for purchase in Collins Dining Hall. Full orientation activities begin on Thursday, August 25 at 8:30 a.m. Students must pick up their welcome packets from the Check-In Tent at Phillips Hall Lawn between 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. on Thursday.
